At Koperfontein Stonemill, we grind the whole grain using a traditional Stone Grinding process. The only things we add are time, patience and care to ensure that we bring you the best quality, natural flour.
Stone Grind means our flour retains all the essential vitamins and minerals modern manufacturing methods remove from the grain. The end result is a tastier, natural flour to give you the best baking results.
Our Stone Ground process uses all the key elements of the whole grain – the bran, endosperm, and germ. By milling at a lower temperature, our flour retains the vitamins, minerals, and fibre naturally.
We find the most important benefit of eating whole grains to be the richer taste that comes from enjoying all parts of the grain.
